Woot Woot | Personal
Published Saturday, February 13, 2010 by Julian Beattie inYou may be thinking... "Is he really doing a Blog post about a Blog post?"
Yep, I am! I've followed Rock N Roll Bride since it's early beginnings, to now, when it's one of the UK's biggest and coolest Blog's. There was just something about Photographer's (And more importantly, Brides) stepping out of the realm of "normal" and doing something completely daring, courageous and DIFFERENT. It is what I have strived for in every shoot. I may not have done it to the full extent of what Rock N Roll Bride's do, as I never really had a "Rock N Roll Bride" before then, but I tried.
Then Bonnie & Rod came along. As soon as I had the pictures on my screen after the amazing day, I knew I had to at least try and submit them to Kat (She is the brains behind the whole Blog) -- I mean, how often in Australia am I going to get to photograph such a couple?
So I did. And guess what? She was "over the moon" to Feature the Wedding (Silent girlie scream inside my head at this point!!). I never thought the one Blog I followed religiously would some day have me on it. Amazing.
So, here it is -- The amazing Rock N Roll Bride Blog and my kick-ass couple, Bonnie and Rod, rocking it! Click the image below to follow it over to the blog;
